Course description
This qualification is aimed at individuals working or wishing to work in the match day and events stewarding industry. The qualification meets the requirements laid out in the Football Licensing Authority’s Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds (known as the Green Guide).
Course content
Subjects covered include:
- How to prepare for stewarding activities.
- Identify and deal with physical hazards.
- How to search the venue for suspect items.
- Control the entry and exit of people at events.
- Provide people with information and help them with other problems.
- How to search people for unauthorised items.
