Who is this course aimed at?
This qualification is for learners who work in a front line role ensuring the security and safety of customers at public events. It covers the gap between SIA licence linked and Spectator safety qualifications, including a wide range of subjects from behaviour detection and analysis to the infrastructures required to support a safe and screened ingress to venues. Incidents including forced access attempts, crowd surges, uncontrolled egress, social engineering and working with multi agency approaches are covered from an operatives perspective.
Course content
This qualification provides operational security and safety professionals venue developmental knowledge in securing and protecting public events hosted within venues or comparable external locations. Learners will develop their understanding of profiling, fortification, screening and interoperability with multi agency approaches alongside acquiring the skills required to respond to emergency situations.
